What the page checks.
The seal is a chain of checks, not a picture of a stamp. The verification page runs them again every time it is opened.
- IntegrityThe file's SHA-256 hash is recomputed and compared with the one sealed into the record. Genuine or altered, nothing in between.
- TimestampThe RFC 3161 timestamp from an independent time authority, recorded when the seal was applied.
- NotaryThe commissioning state, commission number and expiration of the notary who performed the act.
- SignersWho signed, when they consented to sign electronically, and the audit events behind each signature.
